In celebration of GHOST’s release date tomorrow, I’m sharing another of my early short stories!

“Frozen” was written in 2003 and appeared in Dark Cloud Press’ THOU SHALT NOT… anthology in 2006. It’s a near-future story of a family with a bizarre initiation ritual to test their children as they enter “adulthood.” It’s also technically the only YA short story I’ve published (the narrator is 13).
