I was in high school and had only had my license for a few months. My friends and I used to drag race on the highways (bad enough I know). We were always bored and for some reason were always in a hurry. A bunch of us went bowling one night and as we were heading out to the parking lot someone said "Race time!". That was all it took - we flew to our cars, trying to beat each other out of the lot and onto the nearby on ramp for the highway. I was one of the first to get to my car and I wasn't paying attention - I had parked a little crooked and as soon as I got the car started I threw it in reverse and hit the gas. The wheel was cut and the corner of my bumper smashed into the drivers side door of a car parked behind me. I jumped out to look and saw a huge dent... I then got back into my car and drove away.
I felt horrible... I could have gone back... I could have left a note but I did nothing.
I still feel guilty about it all these years later.

This is the senior prank that my class played in 2008 on our high school. No one had done a better one before, and it's doubtful anyone ever will. I think they have video camera's in the hall now.

Summer before my freshman year I went on a trip to the east coast with my school and four of my best friends. When we were waiting in line to get into Mount Vernon two of my best friends started saying really rude things about my other two friends and I. I don't want to name names so let's say that the two girls that were saying rude things about us names were Nichole and Hannah. The worst part was that they were saying it loud enough for us to hear, which was their intention. Soon Hannah's mom started to join in with them which crushed me, because honestly, who's the parent here? Hannah told her mom to knock it off and the response she got from her was, "No, this is fun!" I happened to be rooming with Nichole, Hannah, and Hannah's mom, so needless to say, I moved out of that hotel room and moved into another one.

What happened when I was an insecure girl in the eighth grade?

I shaved my head for a boy.

That's catchy and very misleading. I only had the front of my hair shaved, but my mother went a little too far back. What I had done was obvious, because it was ill shaped and the skin was lighter. If she would have went any further back, I could have easily passed for a samurai.

At first the boy I liked only teased me a little about my hairline. After the shave mishap, it got much worse, much much worse. It took nearly two years for my hairline to get back to normal, and for me to gain some self-esteem.

Can tell you I will never change my hair for a boy again. Nor do I plan on changing it for a man. And I will never never ever let my mother get near me with clippers.

In highschool I had a friend who met this older guy online. She was 15 and he was 19. We lived in Vancouver and he was from Seattle and he drove up one weekend to meet her. They set up a date and my friend asked me to go along as the third wheel. Her parents did not know about the guy or their relationship as they were very strict and if they knew, would not let my friend keep seeing him. Then my friend started posting sexy pics of herself to send to the guy and I didn't think it was right so instead of confronting her about it I told her brother instead and her brother in turn told her parents. She asked me about, we had a huge fight where a lot of hurtful things were said followed by a lot of tears. From that day on we were no longer friends. Looking back I regret how I handled the situation as we were such good friends before that was gone now.

When my sister was in Grade8 she started highschool and was being bullied by one of the kids in her class. What happened was that he sat next to her in science class and he would copy off her homework and look at her answers during tests. My sister was too afraid to tell the teacher as she was very shy. It got worse when he started calling her names and my sister was so scared she was afraid to go to school. The vice-principal called my sister into her office and my sister told him about the bullying. The other student was punished and at the end of the year my family moved to another city so my sister was able to attend another highschool leaving her bad experiences behind her.

Toward the end of my tenth grade year  (I was 15) there was a boy who liked me.  We had spent all summer on the phone together, and I liked him at first, but after awhile our conversations got stale, and I realized the only thing we had in common was our friends.  Then I started to notice how often he called, and it just got plain annoying.

Anyway, he acted like he was so into me.  Until I found out he was also "so into" my best friend.  (Did he think we didn't talk to each other about boys?!) Anyway he told her he liked me more so he wasn't gonna hit on her anymore or whatever, but both of us were just thinking no one cares! Neither of us likes you!

And later I found out that he was sleeping with (Yes, sleeping with! In eleventh grade!) his best friend's girlfriend.  It seemed like everyone knew, except his best friend.  Then he found out, but he was basically in love with the girl, so he stayed with her. She was still cheating on him, though. The two guys weren't friends anymore.

Later the guy was hitting on me, and it was making me super uncomfortable, and he was way too close.  So finally I just told him "You're all wrapped up in drama!"  Then he got angry at me! I guess he didn't know I knew, but he left me alone after that.  Thank God.

At the end of the year, I was signing the other guy's yearbook (the one who's girlfriend cheated on him) He was a really nice guy and he didn't deserve that, but while I was signing he asked me out! I was thinking whattheck?! Does everyone want me to be the fourth member of a dramatic love rectangle?!  At that point I was really glad that I technically was not allowed to date, because it was an easy, non-confrontational excuse.

I found out later that he had already broken up with his cheating girlfriend (only about 2 days before) It didn't matter, though, because I didn't actually like him, and he still loved her anyway.

When I was a junior in high school, my parents went on a trip and left me home... assuming that I was responsible enough to be by myself for four days.  While they were gone, I decided that I did not want to have to go to school for those days and pretty much ditched the entire time they were gone.  The school called daily and I promptly erased all messages and any evidence that  was there.  Ok, any evidence that was except the certified letter that the school sent to my parents.  So, needless to say, once they got home I was totally busted.  My parents had to go to the school and learn that I had ditched all the days they were gone and then here is the ironic part... the school then suspended for three days.  Well, this was really not too much of a punishment as both my parents worked all day.  So, I was grounded for quite awhile, but in the end it was like I had a week off of school.

When was in seventh grade, I was walking down to the lunchroom with my friends. Did you ever have one of those walkways, the kind that made you feel like everyone within seeing distance was looking at you, and only you? Well, our school had one. My friends and I got our food and when I went to pay, my friends were no where in sight. Looking around, I spotted them all the way across the room, eating and enjoying their lunch. The "Walkway" I mentioned before, that comes in here. Earlier in the day, someone had spilled milk on the ground right in the middle of the walkway. Did I mention I was next to my crushes table? I didn't notice it there, so, speeding down the room, I slipped and did a  face plant to the ground, getting a nosebleed.

Everyone around me started to laugh, the table next to where I fell being the loudest, due to the preppy girls who think they know it all. (That's where the misbehavior comes in. How rude is it to sit there and laugh at someone when they fall on top of there lunch, right next to the table where their crush is sitting, with a bloody nose and not help.) I was totally and completely embarrassed. Then, all of a sudden, My best friend's face appears over me and she's helping me up. Gosh! Would she do anything for me? She walked right up to those preps and told them off, in front of the whole cafeteria. That shut them up. Then she came back to me and took me to the bathroom to clean me off. She's the greatest friend I've ever had!

To celebrate my friend's birthday, we got permission to go out to lunch and said that we might not be back in time for health class (a 20-minute class, where we rarely did anything, that transitioned us into our option classes for the rest of the day). When we got back to school, there was still 10 minutes left in that class, but the halls were deserted and neither of us was a huge fan of the class, so we daringly sat on the floor beside our lockers and played cards until it was time for the next class, then, as we stashed the cards in my locker, pretended we had just returned. - Eighth Grade
