This news has been in the works for more than a month, and I’m so excited to finally be able to share it with you. This November, preparation for the 2012 apocalypse, six Ontario authors of apocalyptic and dystopian YA fiction will be touring around the province, chatting with readers, signing books, and offering great prizes to those who attend! Check it out:
The dates and details, if you have trouble reading the poster:
Tuesday Nov 6, 7pm – Indigo Yorkdale, Yorkdale Mall (Toronto) – Leah Bobet, Megan Crewe, Lesley Livingston, Maureen McGowan, Cheryl Rainfield. RSVP on Facebook!
Saturday Nov 10, 2pm – Chapters Belleville, Quinte Mall – Megan Crewe, Lesley Livingston, Maureen McGowan, Cheryl Rainfield, Courtney Summers. RSVP on Facebook!
Saturday Nov 17, 2pm – Chapters Brampton, 52 Quarry Edge Drive – Leah Bobet, Megan Crewe, Lesley Livingston, Maureen McGowan, Cheryl Rainfield. RSVP on Facebook!
Saturday Nov 24, 2pm – Chapters Barrie, 76 Barrie View Drive – Leah Bobet, Megan Crewe, Lesley Livingston, Maureen McGowan, Cheryl Rainfield. RSVP on Facebook!
You’ll notice I mentioned prizes? Those of you who’ve been eager to get your hands on The Lives We Lost will be happy to hear what I’m contributing.
At each event, you can enter to win an advance copy of The Lives We Lost! I’ll be giving away one ARC per event, so there are four up for grabs, and if you make it to all four events, you’ll have four chances to win one. As long as you show up some time while we’re there (I expect we’ll be at least two hours at each location), you can add your name to the entry list. And the other authors will have awesome giveaways available too!
If you’d like to help spread the word, you’re welcome to borrow that e-poster and any text from this post.
Hope to see you there!
YAYYYYY I’m so glad you guys are all coming 😀 SO EXCITED!
Hope you can make it! 🙂
OMG, I am FREAKING out right now! You’re coming to Barrie!! *cries* *screams* *cries some more* Barrie never gets events! I don’t care if there’s a blizzard. I will walk there if I have to. Rest assured, I will be there!!
Yay! I’m always happy to come to Barrie — my husband has family there. 🙂
I’m so jelly! Wish you guys were coming to Houston!
Maybe if the tour goes really well, we can take it across the continent. 😉
I’m so excited I’m so going! Can’t wait to see you guys there!!!!
Awesome! Glad you can make it!
Yay! Not many authors come to Ontario (at least not the ones that I know of), especially other than Toronto. Those cities are still kind of far from where I live, but I’ll try to make it to at least one of them, like Brampton.
We’re all from Ontario (most of us from Toronto, actually), so it made sense to tour around here. We love our Ontario readers! 🙂
See you in Belleville! I am super excited that an event is closer to my town this time. 🙂 *happydance*
I’m so excited for this event! I’m going to be attending the Belleville stop and I’m looking forward to meeting you. 🙂
I’m looking forward to meeting up with this tour this weekend in Brampton – and I just send out an e-mail to my fellow school board librarians to invite them too! So awesome!
